The project “ RegioDiff: Getting to know the regions of Styria: Differentiated general education materials for inclusive teaching in the fourth grade ” is a practice-oriented project with accompanying scientific research from the University of Graz. The materials created as part of the project exist both in a digital learning environment and as print material and are freely available. They convey the learning material in combination with reading strategy tasks, reading comprehension tasks and cooperative tasks and are enriched with glossary words (explanations of difficult words).
The materials consist of four different levels of difficulty, which make it possible to work together with all the children in a class on a topic in inclusive teaching. Allocation to reading levels is done using the Graz Reading Comprehension Test (print and digital) developed as part of the project, which provides feedback on the children’s reading skills in an overall score and in four areas.
