Generative Artificial Intelligence To Create Multilingual And Multimodal Narratives From Scientific Open Data

The course aims to equip students with knowledge and skills that complement their academic education and effectively prepare them to meet the specific demands of the jobmarket.
The skills acquired will enable students to play a significant role in communication and innovation within their fields.
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Develop a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of generative AI,using these technologies to efficiently process and analyze textual data;
- Apply storytelling techniques to transform scientific data into engaging narratives, facilitating the promotion of science in an accessible and appealing way;
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in real-world contexts, using AI to tackle and overcome challenges in scientific communication and dissemination;
- Create creative multimodal artifacts such as podcasts, comics, board games, infographics, animated videos that combines text, sound, and visual elements.

Classes:
- 15 hours – Asynchronous Sessions;
- 15 hours – Synchronous Sessions;
- 10 hours – Theoretical Activities;
- 20 hours – Theory Practice.
