Module to Develop Plurilingual Communicative Competence
Exploring linguistic diversity and language learning strategies
The aim of this module is to develop communicative competence in two foreign languages and to allow students to familiarize themselves with theoretical concepts such as linguistic diversity, language learning strategies, (socio)linguistics, plurilingualism, and multiculturalism. It also aims to develop students’ critical approach to and reflection on learning languages.
Course Syllabus
- Communicative Competence: Development in two foreign languages.
- Theoretical Topics: Linguistic diversity, Language learning strategies, Sociolinguistics, Plurilingualism, and Multiculturalism.
- Critical Reflection: On language learning.
- Methodology: COIL (Virtual Exchange).
